This is the place where I will unload, rant, wax poetic, babble, and discuss things going on in my life and the world around me.

Reading by Robbie
Yesterday Sarah and I took the boys to Disneyland. On the way Robbie wanted to read to us. Here's how it went:
Robbie: Holes, by Louis Sachar. Winner of the Newberry Award for Literature. (Great Start) Chapter 22. "As I returned to my hole..."
Whoa! Chapter 22? What happened to 1-21? I'm confused. Who's Stanley? Armpit? X-Ray? Zero? Why are they digging holes? What seeds?
Later Robbie explains that he has already read the first 21 chapters. Now it all makes sense. (His reading, not the story. Seriously, who is Armpit?)

Too bad I've lost the DVD. We can stare at the cover for two hours, but I still think the Armpit mystery will remain.
