It's Friday night, actually Saturday morning. 1:12am. I can't sleep. I'm at the Courtyard by Marriott in Buena Park and have a 7:45am call time in Los Alamitos to play bass for a junior high show choir. The kids will be bright eyed and full of energy. I won't. Why can't I sleep? It's not the bed. Maybe the room is too hot. Or too cold. I need to pee.
